Detail-oriented DTS Checker to support our Perceived Quality department. The role involves verifying and auditing 3D styling surfaces and 3D engineering CAD models from new programs development against defined Design Technical Specifications (DTS), specifically focusing on Gap & Flush requirements. This activity will be performed using CATIA V5 software. The DTS Checker will be responsible for evaluating design data for compliance, identifying deviations, and ensuring alignment with engineering standards prior to TKO (Tooling Kick-Off) release.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 3D geometry verification by cutting sections in CATIA to evaluate Gap & Flush conditions.
Compare CAD model output against the Nominal DTS (Design Technical Specification) to ensure conformance.
Document and report any deviations from defined specifications to relevant design teams.
Collaborate with PQ engineers to clarify requirements and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of audits and status of CAD verification activities, including weekly reports with details of work evolution and highlight major risk items.
Yêu cầu
Junior Engineer who is currently finishing or has completed an Engineering degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Product Desing or related.
Experience in CAD checking, preferably in the automotive sector.
Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 with hands-on experience in sectioning, measurement, and annotation tools (Mandatory). Ability with 2D sketch development is also recommended.
Understanding of automotive Gap & Flush standards and basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with OEM-specific DTS standards for Fit & Finish
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Fast learning and quick on task execution.
Good communication and documentation skills in English language - read and write.
Microsoft Office applications knowledge is desirable.
Experience with design release methods and PLM systems (Teamcenter).
Prior experience in digital mock-up (DMU) validation or packaging is recommended.
