We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Legal Associate to join our team. The Associate will be responsible for supporting the Managing Partner and senior professionals in legal, administrative, and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Professional Work
Advise clients on a broad range of legal matters including corporate & commercial transactions, contract negotiation and drafting, regulatory compliance, employment matters, real estate transactions, and dispute resolution strategies.
Quickly understand clients' requirements and business context to deliver timely, practical, and commercially sound legal solutions.
Prepare, review, and provide comprehensive legal advice on contracts, agreements, legal opinions, memoranda, and other legal documents across various aspects of Vietnamese laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Law on Enterprises, Investment Law, Civil Code, Land Law, Labor Code, and relevant sector-specific regulations.
Conduct legal research and due diligence, summarizing findings in clear and actionable reports.
Liaise and work effectively with state authorities, regulatory bodies, and government agencies on behalf of clients.
Manage licensing, permit applications, and regulatory submissions as required.

Business DevelopmentDevelop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Proactively participate in business development activities including pitching, networking events, and firm initiatives.
Identify and engage potential clients, contributing to the firm's sustainable growth and market presence.
Serve as a reliable point of contact, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
3. Administration & Management
Supervise and manage legal projects, ensuring timely delivery within agreed scope and budget.
Coordinate with internal teams, external counsels, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates and legal assistants.
Maintain accurate matter records, filing systems, and internal documentation in compliance with firm standards.
4. Other Duties
Perform other assignments and tasks as delegated by the Managing Partner or higher positions.
Valid Vietnamese Lawyer Practicing Certificate issued by the Vietnam Bar Federation.
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or higher.
Basic knowledge of organizational structure, administration, and management practices.
Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant legal practice experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
Solid understanding of Vietnamese laws and the legal system, with ability to conduct independent legal research.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence in both Vietnamese and English.
Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication); additional language is an advantage.
