Lead and manage major investments and legal risk matters such as merges & acquisitions, greenfield energy projects and corporate restructuring, as well as for all contracting requirements for day to day business of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Liaise with business units on governance and compliance issues under the prevailing framework and standing guidelines.
Support in negotiations and interface with customers, business partners, suppliers, contractors etc
Work as integrated team with other departments (Business Development, Finance and Accounting, HR, Admin...) in identifying, mitigating and managing risks on activities, businesses and projects of the Company and its subsidiaries
Review and enhance policies to minimize legal and regulatory risks;
Manage and monitor all material litigation of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Manage a variety of company regulations, licenses, contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, and consulting to ensure all of the company contracts are in line with legal implication and philosophies as well as mitigating risk whenever possible.
Provide legal advice and response to inquiries related to the interpretation of the agreement or other legal documents on issues raised by other departments.
Provide consultative guidance and finding solutions regarding contract agreement, contract interpretation, legal disputes and legal claims.
Draft and review contracts and related documents for the procurement or provision of goods and services, confidentiality of proprietary information, employment, leases of land and equipment, software licenses, shares purchase agreement, shareholders agreement.
Develops effective relationships with external legal institutions and relevant authorities in a governance compliance manner.
Understanding the commercial objectives, strategy, pressure points of the business, reasonable operational knowledge with a view to identifying and accessing the risks and legal issues involved and effectively communicating this to the business unit or project team to enable them to make well-informed business decisions.
Assess transactions and agreements to identify legal risks in transactions/agreements and provide advice and recommendations to the business unit to enable them to make informed commercial decisions.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in law. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in legal consulting, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Proven experience in corporate law and legal management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of business operations and risk management.
Ability to work under pressure and make sound legal decisions.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Knowledge of relevant regulations, permitting processes, and environmental requirements.
SKILL/ABILITY REQUIRED:
Possess utmost integrity and honesty, have a flair for legal work.
Able to exercise creativity in taking on problems which have no precedent or clear options available.
Pro-active and interested in problem solving autonomously.
In-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese regulatory environment at the national and provincial levels.
The ability to work on a variety of projects with minimal supervision.
Good at making PowerPoint and presentation.
