Mô tả công việc
• Provide legal and regulatory guidance on the design and modification of products, proactively identìy associated risks and recommend mitigation strategies, review product user experiences to ensure legal compliance and proper disclosures, review product marketing materials, and help document legal guidance for consumption by legal, compliance, product and customer operations teams to name a few.
• Contract drafting, negotiation and advisory responsibilities for the three
companies: Streetcorner Lending Corporation, Streetcorner Finance Co. Inc.,
Streetcorner RemiGance Corp., Kwago and its all existing and future partnerships.
• Check or review legal forms and documents for accuracy
• Executing corporate strategy relating to the organizational structure of all of the
business unit, including setting up new entities.
• Liaise with government
• Review, process and ensure company's compliance to government regulations and requirements, such as permits and licenses, standards, mandatory reporting, etc.
• Provide seamless and efficient review and advice on marketing campaigns and
advertising claims related to all RB brands and products on social media and e-
Commerce related platforms within the EU and key international jurisdictions
• General Data Protection Regulation, Privacy and General Compliance matters -
advisory work to business on compliance and regulators
• Working closely with the regulatory team to build a robust and advanced e-
Commerce legal know-how database that is aimed at educating the e-Commerce
business unit and broader organisation on e-Commerce legal compliance, and
helping the e-Commerce business unit navigate the evolving policy and regulatory landscape on e-Commerce activities locally and globally
• Dispute/litigation - advising the business on consumer and other types of
disputes, including assisting with negotiations and litigation process
• Provide legal and strategic business advice to help develop a comprehensive, longterm sustainable approach to our relationships with key strategic partners and the commercial aspects of our products and all e-Commerce initiatives and programs
Yêu cầu
- At least 1-3 years legal experience practicing either in-house (or in an equivalent
setting) or at a law firm, with at least 2 years of those years focused on either
payments law, the FinTech space or E-Commerce businesses, or financial services regulatory analysis governing local Labor Law.
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Certification Program in Paralegal studies:
- knowledge of legal principles and practices
- knowledge of legal research techniques
- knowledge of legal terminology
- knowledge of legal communication principles and practices
