Legal Specialist

The position holder is to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities including but not limited to:
Drafting and negotiating contracts including but not limited to those related to company's projects
Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company
To anticipate and manage the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations (copyright, data information)
To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations
Legal research
Conduct comprehensive legal research on tax obligations, trademark laws, AML regulations, and other relevant areas.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the e-commerce industry
Tax compliance
Advise on and ensure the company's compliance with local and international tax obligations.
Collaborate with external tax advisors as needed
Trademark Management
Manage trademark registration and enforcement processes
Conduct trademark clearance searches and assess potential infringement risks.
AML Compliance
Develop and implement AML policies and procedures.
Monitor and ensure compliance with AML laws and regulations.
Contract Review and Drafting:
Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and partnerships
Dispute Resolution
Assist in the resolution of legal disputes, including negotiations and, if necessary, collaborating with external legal counsel
Corporate Governance
Provide guidance on corporate governance matters
Assist in the preparation of board materials and corporate filings
