Job Purpose
The Legal Supervisor is responsible for managing legal and compliance matters of the Company, including contract review, legal risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal policy development. The role also supports management and departments by providing practical and business-oriented legal advice to ensure all business activities comply with applicable laws and internal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Risk Management
• Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, appendices, letters, and other legal documentation.
• Identify legal risks and provide appropriate legal advice and risk mitigation solutions.
• Advise relevant divisions/departments on legal protection and contract management.
• Provide legal updates and interpretations to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update contract templates, checklists, and trackers.
• Coordinate with authorities regarding litigation and complaint matters.
2. Internal Policies & Procedures
• Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies, procedures, and POAs.
• Draft and update internal policies in compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate in improving internal approval processes and compliance practices.
3. Regulatory Compliance
• Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and legal requirements.
• Coordinate licensing, reporting, and compliance activities between HCMC and Hanoi operations.
• Support legal training sessions and internal audits.
• Prepare compliance reports and legal updates.
4. Contract Management
• Supervise contract management processes from request to signing and filing.
• Ensure all contracts are properly reviewed, approved, and archived.
• Support dispute resolution and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
5. Cross-functional Support
• Provide legal guidance and support to internal departments.
• Support management in identifying and preventing potential legal risks.
• Support operational activities when required while ensuring legal compliance.
6. Other Duties
• Handle payment processes and documentation with external law firms/vendors.
• Manage company seal, logbook, and signature request processes.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager and Company.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree in Law; Lawyer Practicing Certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Good understanding of corporate compliance and legal risk management.
• Experience in retail or commercial business environments is preferred.
• Good English communication skills in speaking, writing, listening, and reading.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with practical and business-friendly legal thinking.
