Logistic Manager

Location: AkzoNobel Vietnam - Lot I4-1 Que Vo 1 Industrial Park, Phuong Lieu, Que Vo, Bac Ninh
Have daily shuttle bus service from Hanoi for employees commuting to the site.
Job Purpose:
To provide end to end responsibility for all Logistics (warehousing and transportation) for Bac Ninh factory by allowing maximum operational flexibility according to customer service, quality, HSES and cost targets.
To manage and lead entire finished goods chains from production sites to customer's sites, including all nationwide logistics, warehouses, replenishments, distributions with compliance to company HSE-S; control inventory accuracy, at the lowest cost to serve as well as provide better service to customers than competitors.
To manage owned resources and outsourcing suppliers to ensure that they can deliver businesses requirements as well as to anticipate resources for business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
1. HSES & statutory compliance
Manage warehouse HSES practices (5S, Gemba, BBS) and safe ASRS/FLT operations.
Drive sustainability and zero-incident culture through LSR, BBS, and PSM.
Ensure full compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
2. Warehouse Management
Oversee Finished goods warehouses (onsite & 3PL).
Maintain 5S, HSES, Gemba, and BBS standards.
Ensure accurate inventory control (FIFO, SAP/WMS, cycle counts).
Manage ASRS operations, pre-weight accuracy, and SLOB documentation.
Develop SOPs and train warehouse staff.
3. Distribution Management
Manage contracts and performance of 3PL transport providers.
Optimize delivery routes and schedules for cost and OTIF targets.
Handle export dispatches and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor delivery performance and implement improvements.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives.
4. People Management
Develop and coach warehouse and logistics teams.
Set KPIs and review team performance.
Foster a culture aligned with company values and goals.
5. Budget, strategic planning and others:
Plan and monitor logistics budget and performance.
Assess logistics capacity and lead capex execution.
Coordinate vendor selection and support regional logistics projects.
Handle other tasks as assigned by the manager.
