1. Job Overview
The TEC Method and Support Engineer is responsible for supporting maintenance performance improvement across SMQDC dimensions (Safety, Machine, Quality, Delivery, Cost). Enhance equipment availability by improving reliability, considering criticality and sustainability of assets, while contributing to the efficiency of TEC teams.
Ensures the effectiveness of maintenance methods, strengthens team competencies, validates maintenance plans, and supports component obsolescence management. By aligning technical expertise with operational requirements.
2. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
2.1. Maintenance performance: improve maintenance performance across SMQDC (Safety, Machine,
Quality, Delivery, Cost).
2.2. Equipment Reliability: Strengthen equipment availability and reliability (MTBF, MTTR, RCA,
reduce DT or recurrent breakdown...).
2.3. Method and Standardization:
Develop and standardize maintenance methods, procedures, and practices.
Lead scheduling-planning.
2.4. Spare Parts Readiness: Optimize spare parts management (PM, BD parts, obsolescence) to
minimize risk and ensure readiness.
2.5. M-foundation and change management: Promote ownership, autonomy, problem-solving, and
preventive culture and support rollout M-foundation.
2.6. Benchmarking and compliance assurance: Benchmark against other plants to adopt best practices
and conduct internal audit to ensure compliance and improvement.
2.7. Continuous improvement: Provide method support in improvement and problem-solving
meetings for continuous improvement initiatives.
2.8. Training and Development: support the TEC Manager in developing competency matrix and
training plan to enhance team competency.
2.9. Carry out other tasks assigned by TEC manager.
2.10. Adherent to Company Safety Rules.
2.11. Adherent to Company quality systems.
Yêu cầu
1. Education and working experience required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in Industrial management, electrical or mechanical engineering).
2. Experience:
Professional experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing company, complex industrial organizations
- Candidates with TPM experience or skills in maintenance performance management are strongly considered.
3. Competencies required:
Technical knowledge:
- Maintenance management
- Electrical / Mechanical
Skill:
- Communication skill
- Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis
- Strong analytical communication skills - analysis, reporting, and presenting
- Decision making
4. Prerequisites for the assignment
- Good command of English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Project are required (intermediate)
