Role Description The Management Trainee internship is an on-site role based in Mù Cang Chải district. The trainee will support daily hotel operations across departments such as front office, guest services, food and beverage, and housekeeping, learning standard operating procedures and brand guidelines.
Responsibilities include assisting with guest check-in and check-out, responding to guest inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and helping ensure service quality. The role may also involve supporting administrative tasks, basic reporting, and participation in training sessions and projects assigned by supervisors. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to hospitality management and prepare trainees for future leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong interest in hospitality management and guest service, with a desire to learn and grow in an international hotel environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and local communities.
Organizational and problem-solving abilities, including attention to detail, time management, and a proactive approach to tasks.
Adaptability and willingness to work on-site in a remote, nature-focused destination, including flexibility with schedules and shift work.
Currently studying or recently graduated in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field is preferred, but other relevant backgrounds are welcome.
Basic English proficiency; additional language skills and familiarity with local culture are advantageous.
Comfort with using basic office software and hotel systems; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
