We are now expanding our winning concept, one step at a time, a customer at a time, into Vietnam for the first time.
In Singapore, we have emerged as a leading retailer of mid to high end portable audio products. Ever wondered how you could enhance your music listening experience on the go? We have built up an ever-expanding community by facilitating this growing hobby. We curate interesting products all over the world: Custom earphones, music players, DAC-Amps, down to the well-known TWS Bluetooth earbuds.
We serve consumers from all walks of life, with a vision to provide a space for everyone to feel comfortable in to try, ask questions, and experience music fully.
At The Audio People, you have the chance to be the first employee, working directly with the Founder and CEO. If you are unafraid to begin right on the sales floor and understand a business from ground up, this could be the role for you to stay and build your career!
We seek someone resilient, able to adapt to changes, and an honest individual willing to be committed to the role.
Someone for front of house, to be talking and selling audio, 5 days a week. You are expected hone your understanding of the business at its most essential level - The ability to understand customers' changing behaviours and wants, which when done well, naturally extends into good sales.
As you are completely bilingual, you will be working directly with the founder and CEO, to help him translate in communications, and other tasks that he may require of you to help.

Anyone may apply but we prioritize these qualities (not in order of preference):
Bilingual: Must be fluent in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.
Qualification(s): Diploma or higher; Degree is not a pre-requisite.
Front facing - good in customer service and sales. The founding ethos of The Audio People is to be able to provide exemplary customer service, for customers from all walks of life. This is primary amongst all other requirements.
Very Useful To Have: Creatives (i.e. able to shoot, edit videos, assist in ad-hoc social media posts and projects). Capable of transcribing and adding subtitles in both Vietnamese and English, versed in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (for video editing)
Knowledge in portable audio - This is not a pre-requisite.
Have experience in retail sales - Good to have, but not a pre-requisite.
Amicable, resilient, honest, and have a willingness to learn.
Willingness to work weekends (you get Monday + another day off).
High energy as you will be meeting with a lot of different people on a weekly basis.
