Job Purpose:
To manage the assigned land portfolio and protect its investment interests by providing strategic legal counsel throughout the project lifecycle. This role serves as the primary liaison with external land bank owners and regulatory authorities, ensuring strict legal compliance while driving collaborative partnerships to facilitate smooth project execution.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the assigned land portfolio, including advising on land, investment, asset-related, and regulatory matters throughout the land use and project development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with external counsels, consultants, and competent authorities in handling legal procedures and regulatory matters relating to real estate projects.
• Review and provide legal support for investment cooperation arrangements, project approvals, and the implementation of real estate projects.
• Prepare legal advisory memo, reports, and presentation materials for project submissions and approval by the Management.
• Collaborate with
developers, project companies, external partners, and internal cross-functional teams to implement investment strategies and address issues arising throughout project execution.
• Monitor and analyze relevant laws and regulations relating to real estate, land, investment, and corporate matters to ensure legal compliance and support business operations.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and preparing legal documents, internal submissions, and presentation materials.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and assignments as delegated.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience in real estate legal advisory.
• Strong knowledge of the Law on Land, Law on Investment, Law on Real Estate Business, and basic understanding of planning and construction regulations relating to real estate projects.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English, with strong presentation, communication, and legal advisory skills in English.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and legal/business drafting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external parties.
