We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated and dynamic Marketing Officer to join our team.
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing marketing strategies and campaigns. This includes overseeing
digital marketing, content creation, supplier/vendor management, event planning, brand development and building relationships. The Marketing Officer will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that marketing initiatives align with the school's mission, values and growth objectives.
1. Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Digital marketing & content creation:
• Website maintenance: Create and update pages, manage the digital media library and ensure an excellent user experience.
• Social media: manage the school's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, etc.), create posts, track engagement, and report on content performance.
• Photography and videography for the school Communications & PR.
• Implement SEO strategies and track analytics to improve the website's visibility and online reach.
+ Supplier/vendor management:
• Managing vendors to ensure that production standards and schedules are met.
• Ensuring that deadlines are met for all advertising and media opportunities.
+ Events:
• Support the planning and delivery of high calibre internal and external school events.
+ Brand Development & Promotion:
• Maintain and promote the school's brand identity across all marketing channels.
• Create and oversee the production of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, banners and digital content.
• Ensure all communications and materials reflect the school's core values and vision.
+ Other:
• Other relevant duties as required by Director.
2. Qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• At least 6 months in marketing, preferably in an education.
• Experience of using digital and social media in a professional context.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, social media management tools and basic graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Creative thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
