Media Manager is responsible for leading the strategy and overseeing the end-to-end execution of media activities across the assigned client portfolio. This role not only manages media planning and execution but also drives team capability development, optimizes campaign performance, and directly contributes to revenue growth. The Media Manager reports directly to the Head of Media or CEO.
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Media Strategy & Planning
Develop comprehensive media strategies for the client portfolio, ensuring alignment with each brand's business and marketing objectives.
Craft omni-channel media plans, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, YouTube, Display, and emerging platforms.
Define audience strategies and channel mixes driven by data analysis and industry insights.
Consult and present media strategies to senior-level clients.
2. Campaign Management & Performance Optimization
Oversee the full campaign lifecycle: from KPI setting and progress tracking to optimization and final reporting.
Approve media schedules, budget allocations, and media buying decisions prior to execution.
Ensure reporting quality, providing accurate and timely campaign reports, monthly reviews, and post-campaign analyses (PCA).
Proactively propose data-driven solutions to enhance performance (A/B testing, creative optimization, bidding strategies, etc.).
3. Client Management &
Business DevelopmentMaintain strong relationships with clients at manager/senior manager level, acting as a trusted strategic partner.
Identify and leverage upsell/cross-sell opportunities to expand business scope.
Participate in new business pitches, prepare proposals, and present media solutions to potential clients.
4. Team Management & Development
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Media Planners/Senior Planners (2-5 members).
Assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure continuous capability development within the team.
Foster a data-driven, proactive, and creative team culture.
5. Internal & Partner Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Creative, Analytics, Social, and Account teams to ensure seamless strategy integration.
Manage relationships with platform partners (Google, Meta, TikTok, Zalo) to stay updated on new products and optimize partnership opportunities.
