Medical Advisor / Medical Executive - HCM

JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Advisor is responsible for executing scientific engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and supporting the implementation of medical activities for assigned products and therapeutic areas.
This is a field-based role with approximately 50-70% of working time spent on external scientific engagement with HCPs, KOLs, investigators, and scientific societies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Scientific Engagement & Field Activities (Core Focus)
• Spend ≥50-70% of working time in the field engaging with KOLs, HCPs, investigators, and scientific societies
• Build and maintain long-term scientific relationships based on trust and expertise
• Conduct high-quality, non-promotional scientific discussions on:
- Disease states
- Clinical data and evidence
- Treatment guidelines
- Real-world evidence
• Expand and maintain KOL network aligned with company priorities
• Capture, analyze, and communicate medical insights to internal stakeholders
2. Medical Content Development & Support
• Develop and/or support the development of medical materials including:
- Scientific slide decks
- Speaker presentations
- FAQs and scientific Q&A documents
- Internal training materials
• Ensure all materials are:
- Scientifically accurate
- Evidence-based
- Compliant with SOPs and regulations
• Support development and update of scientific content aligned with assigned products / therapeutic areas
3. Medical Strategy Execution & Insight Contribution
• Support implementation of local medical plans aligned with brand strategy
• Identify unmet medical needs and feedback from the field
• Provide medical insights to support internal decision-making
• Contribute to scientific activities such as:
- Advisory boards
- Scientific meetings
- Pre-launch activities
4. Cross-functional Scientific Support
• Provide scientific support to internal stakeholders including Marketing, Field Force, Regulatory Affairs...
• Provide non-promotional medical support to internal stakeholders in alignment with approved medical strategy and materials
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs in accordance with company procedures
• Support execution of evidence generation and publication activities when required
• Support internal training activities when required
5. Ensure Compliance & Ethical Standards
• Adhere to local regulations, Company Code of Conduct, and internal procedures in all activities
• Maintain strict adherence to non-promotional principles in all scientific engagements
• Ensure appropriate reporting of safety information / adverse events received during field interactions in accordance with company procedures
• Demonstrate ethical, transparent, and professional conduct in all internal and external interactions
