- Update the regulations related to construction management field.
- Review and understand contract documents.
- Handle and review payment documents.
- Review and evaluate contractor's proposal for variation order, claim.
- Negotiate with the foreign general contractor to reach agreement.
- Participate in the resolution of contractual dispute.
- Review/prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) including cost estimate.
- Take off quantities based on design drawings.
- Measure and value work done quantities on site.
- Prepare rough cost estimate based on conceptual drawings.
- Track changes to the design and/or construction activities and advise cost implication.
- Track material market prices and update database.
- Draft letter on contractual matters.
- Other tasks as required by Contract Manager.
Yêu cầu
- At least 7 years of experience in Quantity Surveyor position.
- Knowledge of construction industry including market prices, escalation.
- Familiar with FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
- Experience in big projects (shopping mall, high rise, or complex projects).
- Experience in the big Korean/Japanese/foreign general contractors.
- Can read and understand drawings of all subjects: Civil, architecture, structure, MEP.
- Can work on project sites in Thanh Hoa province.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication in ENGLISH language and teamwork skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office,...
- Able to come up with rough cost estimate based on the conceptual drawings
- Able to work under high pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in quantity survey or related field.
- Construction Valuation Practice Certificate is a plus.
- Only Vietnamese candidate.
