Mold Workshop Supervisor

3. REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical machining and/or mold manufacturing.
• Experience in supervising or managing a machining workshop or mold workshop.
• Candidates with experience in the following areas are preferred:
• Sand Casting Molds / Patterns
• Die Casting Molds
• Plastic Injection Molds
• Precision Machining
Knowledge and Skills
• Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines, lathes, and Wire Cut EDM machines.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC machining programming.
• Experience with Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or equivalent software is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and understand 2D/3D technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of mold manufacturing, repair, and maintenance processes.
• Ability to plan, assign, coordinate, and supervise workshop activities.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
4. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to candidates with strong hands-on technical capabilities in a workshop environment who can directly support and guide employees in solving issues related to CNC machining, CAM programming, and mold manufacturing.
The ideal candidate should also be capable of effectively translating the Mold Manager's plans and requirements into practical workshop activities and ensuring successful execution.
