Key Responsibilities
• Identifying New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand the company's product and partner portfolio across industries such as dairy, confectionary, beverages, bakery, and others.
• Sales Support and Cold Calling: Engage in cold calling and door-opening activities to establish relationships with new partners. Provide support to the sales team in closing deals with both new and existing customers.
• Market Research and Product Development: Stay abreast of market developments and trends, identifying new product lines and revenue-enhancing initiatives to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Strategy Development & Execution: Implement business strategy for all suppliers approved by BOD and respective
Sales Managers, including price strategy for the sales team to optimize the drive for business growth.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders of manufacturers/suppliers c on an exclusive basis in alignment with the company's strategy.
• Negotiation Strategy Development: Develop and implement negotiation strategies to win deals or renewals, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
• Partnership Pitching: Create and deliver compelling partnership pitches to potential partners, ensuring that shared data is accurate and scientifically sound.
• Industry Engagement: Attend industry conventions and networking events to stay connected with industry trends, build relationships, and identify partnership opportunities.
• Ensure optimal coordination with Greenlife's R&D and Purchasing functions to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in food processing, biotechnology or nutrition with experience in life-science/healthcare industry, preferably with an MBA.
• At least 5 years of
business development experience or have experience as R&D positions or
Technical Sales in the food, nutrition and/or food supplements industry.
• Proven ability in strategic thinking, defining strategies and strategy execution .
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency to close business deals and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated track record in closing deals that significantly contribute to profitable revenue growth.
• Good at English
• Experience in defining Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and negotiating contracts for mutually beneficial outcomes.
