New Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities: Report to Head of Sales.
Assist as required, specifically, but not limited to:
• All tasks related to Sample management: Prepare samples for airfreight out of Vietnam, into different projects / purposes, Label samples correctly, sending samples to customers
• Complete Product Submission Forms.
• Complete NPD tracker.
• Support with sale presentation: PPT Slides, Market Gap Review, Data trend analysis.
• Meetings: prepare samples, in a correct running order.
• Benchmark: regular benchmark of our own products and competition.
• Update critical path tracker.
• Check organoleptic shelf life.
• Check cooking instructions and send samples for cooking instructions testing.
• Sending samples to micro testing.
• Collate and/or enter data for tenders / quotes.
• Update the market analysis files (gap analysis / pricing)
• Capture and share competitor, product, and market information.
• Capture product pricing, new product launches.
• Prepare customer specific product presentation slides.
• Contribute ideas to product innovation sessions and identify Market Trends
• Track and report on approaching/missed critical path deadlines.
• Attend industry events with Seniors, take notes and report post Event.
• Be the main communication link between company with our customers, to understand their requirements and development ideas and then work with our factories and internal teams to execute these.
• Lead proactive development internally and with our factories.
