JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cost Control Functions:
· Monitor, analyze, and report on company expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary targets.
· Develop and implement cost control procedures and policies in compliance with company and Singapore standards.
· Collaborate with various departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost analysis reports for management review.
· Investigate cost variances and discrepancies, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Purchasing Functions:
· Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value for materials, goods, and services.
· Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
· Ensure suppliers comply with company quality standards and delivery timelines.
· Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
· Coordinate with internal departments to forecast needs and ensure timely procurement of resources.
· Support inter-company transactions and ensure compliance with company finance procedures.
· Assist with month-end closing and reporting as required by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Experience in cost control, purchasing, or a related accounting/finance function, preferably in an international or cross-border environment. (Open for fresher)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in accounting and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
· Good knowledge of budgeting, cost control processes, and procurement best practices.
· Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and procurement regulations is a plus.
· Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken).
· Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
· Experience working with Singaporean companies or in cross-border finance and procurement is considered an advantage.
