About the Role
PLAY3.AI is building a portfolio of Roblox games. We're not looking for someone who can write Luau. We're looking for someone who understands why games go viral, how to engineer retention, and how to move fast using AI tools as a force multiplier.
This role is for a developer who treats Claude Code, Cursor, and AI-assisted pipelines as standard tools - not novelties - and who can translate game design instincts into mechanics that keep players coming back.
What You'll Build
Roblox experiences from concept to launch using our 18-step production pipeline
Core game loops engineered for Day 1, Day 7, and Day 30 retention benchmarks
Monetization systems: VIP gamepasses, in-game currency, daily rewards, premium content
AI character integrations - deploying PLAY3's intelligent brand agents inside game worlds
Mobile-first builds optimized for Roblox's primary platform (60%+ mobile players)
Reusable templates and systems that compress future development timelines
Data-driven iteration loops with clear kill/scale decisions at 30-day milestones
REQUIREMENTS
What We're Looking For
Hard Requirements
Shipped at least 1 Roblox game with 10K+ visits - you must be able to show the page
Proficient in Luau - client/server architecture, RemoteEvents, DataStores, ModuleScripts
Active daily user of AI coding tools: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent
Understands Roblox's discovery algorithm - how games surface and what drives organic growth
Can read analytics: CCU trends, session length, D1/D7/D30, funnel conversion
Strong Differentiators
Built a game that hit the front page or trending - you know what that inflection point feels like
Experience using Claude Code or Cursor to generate and refactor Luau at speed
Understands Roblox's social mechanics: party systems, leaderboards, group features, UGC
Familiarity with AI NPC systems or conversational agent integration in games
Has a gut sense for what makes Gen Alpha tick - humor, aesthetics, social currency
Experience with Roblox Studio workflows: toolbox, plugins, Team Create, Version History

2 games live or in active development. Pipeline reusability proven. Revenue signals identified.
The Viral Mechanics You Need to Understand

Kill metrics vs scale metrics: knowing the difference between a game with bad retention and one that just needs a content update
Culture & Operating Style
You ship, then iterate. Done beats perfect in a 30-day sprint cadence
You use AI tools without ego - the best output matters, not how you got there
You can read numbers and make decisions from them, not just build
You communicate clearly in async - we're remote-first and Slack-heavy
You care about the player experience, not just the technical implementation
You have opinions about what makes games good and you can defend them

You've collaborated with brands or IP holders on Roblox activations

About the Role
PLAY3.AI is the intelligence layer inside virtual worlds - we deploy AI characters for brands like Diesel inside Roblox, and we're building our own games.
We're hiring a content creator who lives and breathes Instagram short-form, understands what actually drives growth on the platform, and can move fast - producing polished variations, testing hooks, and iterating without waiting for a brief. You'll own the account. What it becomes is on you.
What You'll Own
End-to-end content production - Reels, Stories, carousels, and captions
Content calendar: planning 2-4 weeks out, aligned to product milestones and cultural moments
Hook testing: producing multiple variations of the same piece to A/B what stops the scroll
Trend monitoring: identifying what's gaining traction in tech, gaming, and AI creator spaces - and moving on it within 24 hours
Analytics ownership: reporting weekly on reach, follower growth, saves, shares, and profile visits - with your own read on what to do next
Collaboration: coordinating with the CEO for founder-led content, behind-the-scenes moments, and campaign launches
REQUIREMENTS
What We're Looking For
Hard Requirements
Portfolio of Instagram content you've personally produced - must include Reels with view data
Demonstrable experience growing an account: show us the before and after, not just the highlight reel
Professional-level editing in Adobe Premiere Pro - this is the baseline, not a bonus
Fluent, precise written English - captions, hooks, and CTAs need to land without a proofreader
Deep working knowledge of how Instagram's algorithm surfaces content: the role of watch time, shares, saves, and send rate
Active daily user of AI tools in your creative workflow - you must be able to articulate exactly how
Ability to produce and deliver multiple polished edits quickly - speed and quality are both required
Strong Differentiators
You've grown an account in tech, gaming, AI, or creator economy - you understand that audience
You've worked with founder-led content: you know how to make a CEO look good on camera
Experience with motion graphics or After Effects - not required, but immediately noticed
You shoot your own footage and direct simple setups, not just edit supplied clips
Familiarity with Roblox, virtual worlds, or gaming culture - you get the world we're in
You track platform updates: algorithm changes, new format rollouts, and monetization shifts

In the interview, we'll ask you to walk us through your read on the Instagram algorithm and how you'd approach growing a B2B-adjacent AI brand account from scratch. Here's the territory we'll cover:
How Reels distribution works - the difference between a Reels push to non-followers versus a feed post, and what signals trigger each
The first-3-second rule: how to write and cut a hook that holds watch time past the drop-off point
The saves and shares signal: why a post with 200 saves and 50 shares can outperform one with 5,000 likes in terms of reach
Hashtag strategy in 2025+: when they help, when they hurt, and what actually matters now
Carousel vs Reel vs static: when to use each format and how to sequence them in a content calendar
The comment velocity effect: how early comment activity in the first hour affects distribution windows
Cross-format repurposing: how to build one piece of content into five posts without it looking recycled
Posting cadence math: the relationship between frequency, engagement rate, and follower growth - and the point of diminishing returns
Editing Standards
We have high visual standards.
Tight cuts - no dead air, no wasted seconds; every frame earns its place
Captions burned-in or styled - accessible, readable, and on-brand (not default auto-gen formatting)
Color grading consistent with brand palette - neon green #7BFF00, void black, clean whites
Sound design: music licensed and mixed to dialogue, not competing with it
Export specs: correct aspect ratios per format (9:16 for Reels, 1:1 for feed, 4:5 for feed portrait)
Variation delivery: every major piece ships with at least 2-3 hook or cut variations for testing
Turnaround: standard edits within 48 hours; trending content within 24 hours of brief
