Operations Director

Requirements:
• Proven experience in factory operations management, ideally in automated or semi-automated manufacturing environments (e.g., automotive, molded plastics, laminates, technical textiles)
• Demonstrated leadership in production environments, with strong exposure to production planning, maintenance systems, and shop-floor execution
• Strong familiarity with machinery and systems used in automated or programmable processes (e.g., roll-to-roll (R2R), composite layering, injection molding, automated sewing lines)
• Experience with new factory setup or production line deployment is a strong advantage
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required; proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of labor management, safety standards, and regulatory frameworks in Vietnam
• Willingness to travel occasionally to China
• Comfortable working with cloud-based communication and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Lark) and familiar with ERP/MRP systems

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechatronics, or related fields
• Experience leading cross-cultural teams or working in foreign-invested manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, or other structured operational excellence methodologies
• Exposure to both textile and non-textile production environments (e.g., metal or plastic processing, assembly) is appreciated
