- The Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, backup, and recovery of Oracle database systems to ensure high availability, integrity, and optimal performance supporting business operations.
- Manage user access control and privilege assignments in Oracle and support end user fix Oracle issues or integration oracle with other applications
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager
Description of responsibilities
1. Database Administration
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database environments
• Manage database instances in production, test, and development environments
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage, PL/SQL
2. Backup & Recovery
• Implement and manage backup strategy
• Perform database restore and recovery testing
• Ensure disaster recovery readiness
3. Performance Tuning
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize SQL performance
4. Manage user accounts, access rights, and system configurations in Oracle environments.
5. Provide technical support for users across hardware/software issues.
6. Ensure compliance with security
7. Work closely with the global IT team and vendors for Oracle system integrations or troubleshooting.
8. Carry out other assignments from the
IT Manager.
Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of: Oracle E-Business Suite (MRP / ASCP modules) or Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Good at SQL skills (write data query, database troubleshooting,
database tunning, backup and recovery database, config to setup Oracle
system, Ability to write PL/SQL procedure/job)
- Proficient in Oracle Administration databases, Windows Server/VMWare administration
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT compliance is plus
Experience
-Minimum 3 years of experience as an oracle DBA.
- Experience in SQL skills (write data query, database troubleshooting, database tunning, backup and recovery database, config to setup Oracle system, Ability to write PL/SQL procedure/job)
- Proficient in Oracle Administration databases, Windows Server/VMWare administration
- Understanding of process FIN (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cost management).
- Understanding of process SCM (Inventory, BOM,
Purchasing, Order Management, Shipping).
- Understanding of process Planning , QA, ENG.
- Understand about BOM structure and multi-level planning and setup BOM
- Understand about Demand forecasting vs. actual consumption
- Have experience to run MRP in Oracle system
- Have experience and knowledge to integration between Oracle database with third-party application is advance
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity tasks is preferred.
