Identify new packaging vendors (domestic and international) and/or options based on the needs of our customers and marketing department.
Work closely with the plant engineer and quality team to assess the compatibility, integrity, and food safety of packaging options
Identify packaging supply chain requirements by reviewing our MRP system and the projected lead times of open POs found on our open PO report.
Lead pricing discussions & review annual packaging contracts.
Identify opportunities to reduce our packaging waste, improve the recyclability & sustainability of our packaging materials; standardize our packaging materials; and make our packaging materials more consumer or operations friendly.
Provide updates to our financial controller on the resin and linerboard market.
Liaise with our graphic designer; conduct independent reviews of our labels & film for accuracy and compatibility with food labeling requirements.
Identify opportunities to reduce packaging transportation and warehousing costs.

Good English communication
5+ years of experience in purchasing food packaging materials, ideally within the retail or foodservice industry with a strong network within the food packaging industry; preferably in spice, seasonings, and other CPG categories
Compliance with BRC, FDA, Organic, Kosher, and other food safety regulations
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Design or Package engineering
Binh Duong local candidate is preferable (no bus from HCM city)
