Position Overview
The Payroll & Compliance Executive is responsible for delivering payroll, personal income tax (PIT), labor compliance, and social insurance services for a portfolio of client entities.
The role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and a client-service mindset to ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Processing & Administration
• Prepare monthly payroll calculations based on information provided by clients.
• Calculate personal income tax (PIT), social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance contributions, and employees' net take-home pay.
• Prepare payroll reports and related supporting schedules as required by clients.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation in an accurate and organized manner.
• Ensure payroll activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
2. Salary Payment Services
• Prepare salary payment instructions based on client requests and approvals.
• Coordinate payroll payment processes to ensure timely salary disbursements.
• Prepare and follow up on fund requests related to payroll payments.
• Track payment status and perform reconciliations related to payroll activities.
3. Personal Income Tax (PIT) Compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual PIT declarations for clients.
• Prepare annual PIT finalization filings and related supporting documentation.
• Process tax code registrations and dependent registrations for employees.
• Support payroll and tax compliance matters relating to expatriate employees and Global Mobility projects.
4. Social Insurance & Labor Compliance
• Prepare and submit social insurance reports and declarations in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Handle procedures relating to social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
• Process health insurance card renewals, social insurance book consolidations, and social insurance benefit claims as requested by clients.
• Prepare statutory labor reports and compliance filings required by clients and relevant authorities.
5. Client Service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients on day-to-day payroll and compliance matters.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and relevant authorities.
• Ensure client requests are handled accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters to senior team members when necessary.
6. Other Responsibilities
• Stay updated on changes in payroll, labor, personal income tax, and social insurance regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and employee information.
• Contribute to process improvements and service quality initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Yêu cầu
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in payroll administration, personal income tax compliance, social insurance administration, or labor compliance.
• Good understanding of Vietnamese labor regulations, personal income tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
• Experience in payroll processing and statutory reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll-related systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a client-service mindset.
