Responsibilities
Draft and manage GenAI Policy Standards, including maintaining specialized lists and guidelines to adapt to evolving technology.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, implement, and launch GenAI policies, standards, and products that promote user trust and uphold Google's core principles.
Identify policy issues that may affect Google, understand their impact, manage policy escalations, and suggest improvements.
Monitor and track policy performance against key metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Communicate and present effectively, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across geographies.
Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial or upsetting topics or content.

XIn accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees. Benefits for this role include:

Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment
Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance
Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks
Holidays: 13 paid days per year

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust & Safety, or technology environment.
Experience with policy enforcement or implementation.
Preferred qualifications:
JD, MBA, or Master's degree.
Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policy.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
