*** Job Summary:
- The Program Officer shall work closely with other members of the team to operate Do Ventures' C-level Mentorship Program that connects successful business leaders from large-scale startups and corporates in Vietnam with portfolio companies' founders. The program aims to provide founders with in-depth advice on growth strategies and operational know-how in specific industries. The Program Officer shall also coordinate with the Investment Team to provide specialized support for portfolio companies to help them mitigate challenges and grow faster.
*** Suitable Profile:
- We look for a high-performer with a genuine interest in supporting the brightest entrepreneurs and taking the Vietnam startup landscape to the next level. He/she shall be an outgoing individual with initiative and excellent communication skills.
*** Duties and Responsibilities:
- There is an expectation that you will be actively involved in all aspects of portfolio support. The duties are multi-faced and require the ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally.
1. Operate the C-level Mentorship Program:
• Craft strategies to deliver the program, including identifying, attracting, retaining, and maximizing engagement within our target mentor community (including serial entrepreneurs and business leaders, experienced investors, and senior professionals with relevant functional expertise and track records).
• Facilitate meetings between mentors and founders, ensure continuity, monitor impact and engagement.
• Recommend strategic actions and supporting services to portfolio companies based on the outcomes of mentoring.
2. Provide portfolio support:
• Support portfolio companies' fundraising including reviewing pitch deck and data room, preparing pitch with investors.
• Build trust with portfolio companies' founders and their next-level management tier for engagement and effective support delivery.
• Anticipate and proactively manage portfolio underlying needs and challenges.
Yêu cầu
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in business development, consulting, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. Work experience in startup ecosystem builders such as incubators or accelerators is an advantage.
• Strengths in relationship management.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for helping to cultivate Vietnam's startup ecosystem.
• Willingness to be persistent, creative to solve problems, and meet the needs of the portfolio companies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Vietnamese
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate a sense of honesty, integrity, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, vision, and values of the fund.
