Our Thao Dien campus (District 2, Ho Chi Minh City) serves children aged 15 months to 6 years in a bilingual, international environment. We pride ourselves on nurturing the whole child and equipping them with the English language and global values to thrive.
Career Opportunity
We are seeking Preschool ESL Teachers to join our international community. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons, following IMA's school-based ESL program and Oxford OIC framework, while fostering a positive, child-centered environment.
Your Responsibilities
Planning & Teaching
- Deliver English lessons tailored for children aged 15 months - 6 years.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, teaching aids, and interactive resources.
- Teach up to 30 ESL sessions per week (35 minutes per period).
- Work alongside Vietnamese teachers/assistants to ensure effective classroom routines.
- Conduct quarterly ESL assessments, weekly test interviews, and update progress reports.
- Participate in internal training, curriculum review, and demo lessons when required.
Student Wellbeing & Engagement
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and assemblies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certificate.
- Additional qualifications in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience teaching English to young learners (15 months - 6 years).
- Strong classroom management and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Familiarity with early childhood pedagogy (play-based learning, emotional regulation, emergent language).
- Confidence in teaching through stories, music, and interactive activities.
- Proficiency in basic IT for lesson preparation (PowerPoints, videos, songs).
- Experience with Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) is a plus.
