About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our established Assembly Department of -80-100 employees. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity for a 24/6 operation supplying high-tech assemblies to the semiconductor equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Department Leadership & Workforce Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations across 3 shifts
• Manage and mentor a team including Supervisor, Shift Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers, and Assemblers
• Maintain discipline, resolve conflicts, and conduct performance reviews
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, labor discipline, and regulatory compliance
• Production, Quality & Delivery
• Plan and meet production schedules and delivery targets
• Drive KPIs for safety, quality, environment, and efficiency
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions on quality issues (including DMRs and CARs)
• Evaluate and execute ECRs (Engineering Change Requests)
• Process & Technical Oversight
• Oversee a variety of technical processes including: torch/induction brazing, TIG/orbital welding, soldering
• Cable processing, crimping, potting, and electrical/mechanical assembly
• Class 100/1000 cleanroom operations, bead blasting, functional testing
• Support and optimize introduction of new products and processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant certifications: UL508A, IPC-620, ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001
• Drive CE! (Copy Exactly!) standards when applicable
• Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
• Promote and lead LEAN, 5S, and Kaizen activities
• Identify and eliminate waste in processes
• Audit Participation
• Represent the Assembly Department in internal, customer (2nd party), and external (3rd party) audits
• System & Documentation
• Ensure accurate use of ERP (currently SAGE; migrating to EPICOR)
• Support documentation practices in line with quality and engineering requirements
Yêu cầu
Qualifications & Experience:
• 5-10 years' experience in a similar production or operations leadership role
• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering preferred
• Strong understanding of semiconductor industry expectations and standards (CE! experience is a plus)
• Familiar with UL508A, IPC620, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 frameworks
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAGE/EPICOR experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated success in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Hands-on experience with quality and process management tools (SPC, 8D, PFMEA, DMR, CAR)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Language Requirements:
• Vietnamese - Fluent (Primary language of the workforce)
• English - Strong written and spoken skills required for communication with US-based colleagues
