1. Job Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's procurement strategy, ensuring a stable supply of materials with competitive cost, quality, and delivery performance. This role oversees supplier management,
purchasing planning, and procurement operations to support business growth and production continuity.
2. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Manage purchasing activities including sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and order management.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and supplies to support production and business operations.
Monitor material demand based on sales forecasts and production plans.
Control procurement costs and optimize purchasing budgets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while developing alternative and backup suppliers.
Lead supplier evaluation and performance improvement programs.
Handle supplier claims related to quality issues, delivery delays, or contract discrepancies.
Coordinate with departments such as Production, Planning, R&D, Finance, and Import-Export to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations of key raw materials and propose cost-saving initiatives.
Manage import purchasing activities and ensure compliance with import regulations and customs procedures.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly procurement reports for senior management.
Lead, train, and develop the procurement team.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
At least 5-8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of import/export processes and international sourcing is an advantage.
Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
Good command of English communication and reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
