Supplier Management & Sourcing
Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for locally produced gimmicks and other required items.
Request and compare quotations from at least 2-3 suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
2. Procurement Operations
Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, specifications, and timelines for purchases.
Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in compliance with company policies.
Monitor contract execution, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
3. Inventory Coordination
Oversee delivery of purchased items to the centralized warehouse and ensure proper quality and quantity checks.
Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain accurate labeling for departmental ownership.
Coordinate with departments to facilitate stock handover and usage tracking.
4. Cost Management & Reporting
Manage procurement costs by consolidating orders for economies of scale and negotiating discounts.
Provide regular reports on procurement activities, including cost breakdowns, supplier performance, and stock levels.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Mitigate risks by evaluating supplier reliability, delivery performance, and contractual obligations.
Handle issue resolution, such as addressing quality discrepancies or delivery delays, in coordination with suppliers and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in procurement,
purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in retail.
Having experience in the health and beauty industry is a plus
Experience working with suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills to compare quotes, evaluate supplier performance, and manage budgets.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
Knowledge of inventory management processes and best practices.
