Product Costing Analyst

A key member of the Sourcing team, responsible for supporting the Sourcing, Technical and Product teams in providing detailed analysis on material and product costing along with opportunities drive savings across the Cotswold Company portfolio.
Key Duties and responsibilities
Product Costing
• Responsible for setting up the standard costing and timely updating of the standard cost changes when requested.
• Maintain standard costing and control master management related to costing.
• Collaborate with other teams, (Buying/Technical) to review and monitor new initiatives for saving.
• Work closely with the sourcing teams in Vietnam and China on costing of new development.
• Support R&D and new product standard cost simulation.
• Prepare a monthly actual cost analysis, a cost-down roadmap (CDRM) for high-runner products, or an ad hoc report requested by management.
• Update and maintain records for cost savings initiatives utilizing project software; Interface with Technical, Operations, and Business Unit counterparts to track project progress and timelines; Assist Finance team with validation of reported savings as necessary.
• Actively research market rates for input materials, collating pricing from multiple sources to ensure a comprehensive view or global market prices.
