Product Owner

Objective:

• Defining and prioritizing product features, ensuring alignment with business goals, and maximizing the value of the product.
• Work with stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
• Managing the product backlog, setting the vision and strategy for the product, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the product meets user needs and market demands.

Responsibilities:

1. Backlog Management.

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly prioritized and well-groomed.
• Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements to guide the development team.
• Continuously update the backlog to reflect evolving business needs, feedback, and insights from users.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders (executives, customers, sales) and the development team.
• Facilitate communication and alignment on priorities, ensuring that stakeholders are informed about progress, changes, and upcoming releases.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve the product.

3. Development Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of the product goals, features, and requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos to ensure the team is aligned with the product vision.
• Address any issues or blockers that arise during development to keep the team on track.

4. User-Centric Design and Testing:

• Focus on delivering value to users by understanding their pain points, needs, and feedback.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-friendly, intuitive product experience.
• Define and oversee user testing, collecting feedback to validate and iterate on features and functionality.

1. Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields.
2. Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar roleProficiency in Python programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and data structures & algorithms
3. Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
4. Ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, aligning them with product goals and priorities
5. Ability to identify issues and provide actionable solutions, focusing on both user needs and business value
6. A basic understanding of software development processes and technologies to effectively communicate with development teams
