The Job
1. THE ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to serve as the primary bridge between our US Product Team and the Vietnam Engineering Team. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that requires wearing multiple hats: Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Project Manager. You will not just manage a backlog; you will own the delivery of a complex healthcare product that supports children with autism. Our US Partner "Cloud Kinetix" is proud to be the technology hub for a U.S.-based healthcare company pioneering software solutions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD). Our lean engineering team in Vietnam collaborates directly with product and engineering leaders in the U.S. to create smart, secure, and scalable clinical platforms.
2. WORKING SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS (Please Read Carefully)
To ensure effective collaboration with the US team, this position operates on a specific schedule. We value transparency and want to ensure this aligns with your lifestyle before you apply:
- Early Schedule: Work starts at 6:00 AM (Vietnam Time) on remote days (Tue-Fri) to facilitate direct syncs with US stakeholders.
- Critical Availability: While we respect personal time, this role requires a "First Responder" mindset. Late evening meetings (up to 11:00 PM) may occur occasionally (1-2 times/month) to resolve critical issues. In these instances, your leadership and presence are required.
- Hybrid Model: Monday at the office (Binh Thanh Dist) for team alignment; Tuesday through Friday are remote.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Technical Product Ownership (40%)
• Translate high-level US business requirements into Comprehensive User Stories. You do not just write functional descriptions; you leverage your technical background to embed necessary context (logic flows, data constraints, edge cases) directly into the stories, ensuring they are technically robust and actionable for Engineers.
• AI-Driven Workflow: Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate domain research, draft comprehensive user stories, and optimize documentation. We expect you to use technology to work faster and smarter.
B. Process & Delivery Management (60%)
• Scrum Master Role: Facilitate stand-ups, proactively identify blockers, and ensure the Engineering team has everything they need to run smoothly.
• Project Manager Role: Monitor timelines, manage risks, and provide transparent status reports to the Director of Operations. You are responsible for the "When" and "How" of the delivery.
Your Skills and Experience
We are open to both Senior and High-Potential Middle candidates who meet the following core criteria:
- Technical Background: Prior experience as a Developer, Tester, or Technical BA is essential. You must understand software architecture to communicate effectively with Engineers.
- English Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. You need the ability to debate logic, clarify ambiguities, and confirm requirements with native US speakers.
- AI Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into daily workflows for efficiency and rapid learning (Heavy AI Usage).
- High Ownership: A strong sense of responsibility. You focus on results and solutions, navigating complex reporting lines without waiting for instructions.
Level Differentiation:
- Senior: Capable of driving product strategy, managing conflicting stakeholder needs, and leading the team independently.
- Middle: Strong technical foundation, fast learning agility, and a willingness to intensively learn the US Healthcare domain.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Professional Standards: Work directly with US Directors in a rigorous, high-standard environment.
- Meaningful Impact: Build a product that makes a tangible difference in the lives of families and children with autism.
- Competitive Compensation: We offer a package that reflects the high expectations and commitment required for this role.
