Production Supervisor

Role Description
1. Coordinate safe and efficient production operations according to the production plan
Liaise with the Production Planning Department to stay on top of progress, and to deploy and coordinate production work at the relevant stages
Liaise with the Quality Management Department to ensure production meets quality standards
Monitor and record daily production data and information
Report and analyze production metrics and efficiency
Monitor the use of raw materials, scrap, and semi-finished products, as well as the working procedures of production teams
2. Manage equipment, machinery, tools/instruments, semi-finished products, and raw materials at the production workshop
Control the operating conditions of machinery and equipment
Coordinate with the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Department to schedule machinery and equipment maintenance
3. Manage and develop production capacity
Research and propose continuous improvement plans for production capacity and efficiency
Identify disadvantages or waste in the current production process (people, process, machinery, hazards, etc.) to improve production efficiency
4. Develop the production operations team
Train and coach the production operations team (in coordination with the HR Department)
Manage targets and evaluate the development of production staff
5. Other duties
Procedures related to Occupational Safety, 5S, etc.
Procedures related to Fire Prevention and Fighting (PCCC) at the factory
Tasks related to the ERP system
Other tasks assigned by the direct manager
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in production management/supervising workers at plastic packaging manufacturing plants: printing of flexible packaging/composite packaging (Flexible Packaging)
Logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Honest, transparent, with a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to lead a team, and to train and develop staff
Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
