Overview: Our Ho Chi Minh City-based Edelman Global Advisory (EGA) team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to assist in the delivery of multiple projects involving local authorities and government agencies. The intern will work closely with the Head of EGA in Vietnam and in collaboration with our Singapore-based hub.
Responsibilities:
Policy Analysis Support:
Research and examine local regulations in various sectors as required by the projects.
Conduct media screening of the latest regulatory developments as needed.
Comms Support:
Draft letters and emails in both English and Vietnamese to external stakeholders.
Translate project proposals and documents between English and Vietnamese.
Develop/design proposals as required.
Project Management:
Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs.
Manage all expenses and financial arrangements for projects. Collaborate with vendors to deliver services.
Administration:
Set up calls/meetings as requested.
Take minutes of meetings
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or have obtained a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Communications).
Familiar with the Vietnamese political environment and government agencies, as well as an understanding of the local regulatory structure.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English and Vietnamese.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office suite.
Having your own laptop
Duration: This is a 3-month internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
