Job purpose:
Project Manager will oversee the planning and delivery of construction and renovation for the Guardian office and stores, and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget to the best result of company business strategies.
Responsibility:
• Oversee and directing construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building/ GUVN Standard and safety regulations
• Responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Conduct site investigates for new store and renovation store
• Standardize all the details of store design including construction/ MEPF/ display fixtures
• Propose solutions and methods of design and construction for investment efficiency
• Conduct weekly coordination meeting with stakeholders/ vendors
• Bachelor degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a related field
• Over 8 years of working experience in the same field
• Have experience in process design, construction and MEPF.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings.
• Good English communication both verbal and written
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Familiarity with construction management software packages
• Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Ability to analyze failures and implement effective corrective solutions
• Ability to self-study and update new construction methods and techniques
• Be willing to travel if requested
