Core Responsibilities
• Manage documentation for tools, equipment, and moulding processes related to new moulds at LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam.
• Collaborate with Mould Maintenance teams and other global sites to identify and resolve potential issues with transitioned moulds.
• Prepare and maintain forecast reports for equipment and local tools to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
• Drive standardisation of tools and equipment related to the moulding process, including local tools used for troubleshooting.
• Liaise with suppliers for quotations, purchases, and ongoing coordination.
• Lead global escalations to Platform Owners and actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects related to the moulding process.
• Work closely with the MD&I (Moulding Development & Implementation) team to gather and apply technical knowledge required for moulding project implementation.
• Lead testing and running-in of new moulding platforms and materials.
• Ensure testing, running-in processes, and machine parameters are standardised, documented, and kept up to date.
• Lead project implementation initiatives and partner with the Training team to roll out new technologies, platforms, or materials.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by your People Leader.

The Moulding Process area is a critical function within Moulding Operations. Its primary objective is to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in the injection moulding processes.
In addition, the Process area enables the introduction of new platforms and technologies by defining robust processes and supporting their deployment across moulding operations.
This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement of our standards. Key contributions include analysing current shopfloor conditions to forecast appropriate tools for smooth production, developing and implementing project-based improvements, and challenging existing standards through thorough investigation and testing in controlled environments.
Do You Have What It Takes?
• University degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics,
Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or higher).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding processes.
• Solid understanding of moulding and machine parameter setting and optimisation.
• Proven expertise in injection moulding processes and mould technology.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent collaboration and networking abilities, both internally and globally.
• Proficiency in statistics and data analysis.
• Knowledge of purchase processes and supplier management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Strong self-learning and training capabilities.
• Advanced Vietnamese and English proficiency (spoken and written).
