Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Project Manager (Industrial Construction, $2.500, ID 22845)
Project Management and Execution
Develop the overall project plan, organize project execution, and monitor and control construction progress, particularly during the finishing and MEP stages.
Coordinate construction, MEP, QA/QC, HSE, QS, planning teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective integration and synchronization across all work packages.
Proactively identify risks, resolve technical issues, and allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones and handover deadlines.
Progress, Quality, and Safety Management
Monitor and control project progress, quality, quantities, costs, and construction methods in compliance with contractual requirements, approved drawings, and technical specifications.
Organize inspections and acceptance procedures, address non-conformities, and oversee finishing works, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and project standards.
Client and Consultant Management
Directly liaise, communicate, and report to the Client, Supervision Consultant, and other relevant stakeholders in English within the scope of responsibilities.
Chair project meetings and coordinate the resolution of technical, schedule, quality, and multidisciplinary coordination issues.
Manage emerging issues, design changes, and additional work requests, coordinating with relevant parties to reach agreement on appropriate solutions.
Contract, Cost, and Resource Management
Monitor and control work quantities, project execution costs, variations, changes in scope of work, and contractual payment schedules.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with the QS team and relevant departments on inspections, acceptance procedures, final account settlement, and project financial performance control.
Inspection, Acceptance, and Handover
Organize and complete quality documentation, as-built records, and all necessary inspection and acceptance procedures.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensure rectification of outstanding defects, and facilitate project handover in accordance with specified requirements.
Conduct project performance reviews, evaluate overall execution efficiency, and document lessons learned for future projects.
Requirement
Male, 37- 47 years old.
University degree in a related discipline
Fluent in English for business operations and professional communications.
Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in construction execution, with mandatory experience managing and operating large-scale industrial factory projects (with total investment capital starting from 1700 billion VND).
Previously held Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager positions in industrial developments with rigorous demands for schedule, quality, and technical precision.
Deep operational understanding and practical proficiency in the finishing phase, construction-MEP integration, as well as facility acceptance and handover procedures.
