1. Project Work; lead projects while creating engineered solutions in response to customer requirements and internal optimization projects, typically involving warehouse design, transport design, and/or supply chain (re)design.
• Manages projects to develop solutions in response to customer requirements for warehousing and transportation.
• Manages the solution design process (design, costing, risk mitigation, proposal, and sign-off) and presents solution to internal senior management and the clients.
• Defines and agrees the scope and timing of the proposal with the client.
• Conducts business requirement workshops, aligns with operations and IT on the proposed solution.
• Leads Solution Design Engineers in the detailed development of solutions.
• Prepares business proposals (internal approvals and customer documentation), identifies and mitigates risks (both operationally and commercially), and ensures compliance of all submissions to RHENUS business rules.
• Develops skills and capabilities of solutions design engineers.
• Supports the BD team by attending sales calls to promote RHENUS's contract logistics capabilities and influencing the customers' decision making.
• Works with warehouse and contract managers to identify growth opportunities, leveraging our core capabilities.
• Leads internal improvement projects.
2. Data analysis:
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track progress and measure success.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
Yêu cầu
o Project management, warehousing, transportation, supply chain design, industrial engineering and manufacturing.
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Able to evaluate technical solutions, their commercial impact and risks.
o Commercial understanding of CL contracts.
o Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
o Able to learn and use new software such as warehouse layout simulation software
o Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
o Able and willing to lead a multi-disciplinary team and have the ambition to develop team members and other colleagues.
o Can-do mentality and positive attitude.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
o Strong ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business and customer organizations
