BU Purchasing:
Act as purchasing representative for assigned projects in Vietnam and take responsibility of the purchasing activities
Develop and implement Business Unit purchasing strategies/footprint and align with global and regional BU strategies (including CM sourcing strategies, single/double sourcing, supplier development, cost management, MoB, localization, etc..)
Drive the new projects within the assigned business unit
Have knowledge and overview about all Suppliers in the related Product Line and visit relevant suppliers as required.
Support regional benchmarking studies and lead projects where cost reductions are determined
Drive technical savings through cross functional workshops
Hold monthly review meetings with global BUPs to report on Purchasing KPIs, especially PEP/PPA projects regional performance
Lead buyer:
Outline and implement the commodity strategies
Carry out the investigations/benchmarking of the supplier market and implement increased savings potential
Negotiate with suppliers for a best cost conditions
Be responsible for supplier performance, on going improvement and risk management
Overall improvement of supplier Q.C.D
Support export business and combination projects with Continental

Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor degree or above in engineering or business administration
• 5 years' experience in a similar position at MNC from Automotive or Bearing industries, familiar with project purchasing procedures and practices
• Strong CVA and negotiation skills
• Good experience in cooperate with cross-functional/ cross-cultural teams
• Familiar with manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, forging, turning, etc.
• Experience/Knowledge of related products in bearings is preferred
• Experience in R&D or project management a plus
• CPSM Certification is a plus
