Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Purchasing Manager (Manufacturing, $2200, ID15707)
Implement sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from local and international sources.
Manage import licensing and customs clearance processes.
Identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers and form commercial connections.
Evaluate vendor quotations to verify they meet technical and commercial standards for operations.
Ensure efficient use of internal SOPs in procurement, workflow control, ongoing business process monitoring and improvement, and correct vendor invoicing.
Manage daily purchasing needs, including planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders, delivery, and shipment schedules.
Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders on purchase terms and conditions.
Collaborate with other departments on PSI planning for cans and ends.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clear corporate standards and expectations.
Review and re-evaluate current contracts. Negotiate with external vendors to obtain the best terms.
Manage and monitor all transactional procurement processes.
Analyze data to anticipate potential risks and develop control strategies.
Improve procurement costs and effectiveness by tracking and reporting to key stakeholders.
Improve working capital through price reductions and credit conditions.
Manage aluminum delivery schedule, and perform competitive bidding.
Review outstanding POs quarterly and examine long-standing ones.
Assigned tasks by the superior.
Requirement
Gender: Male/Female; Age: 35-45 years old.
Graduate from University.
Have 5 years of experience in the same position in manufacturing factories.
Strong experience in planning using Excel.
Good at English.
