Purchasing Manager-NEW food factory-Milk, coffee-FDI,

Key Responsibilities
+ Working for new establing EPE factory of food industry: milk/coffee/ cacao/ chocolate/ cake/ candy. Làm việc cho nhà máy CHẾ XUẤT mới thành lập vốn đầu tư nước ngoài của ngành chế biến thực phẩm: sữa/cà phê/cacao/sô cô la/bánh/kẹo
1) To lead Purchasing department and a team of purchasers and Material store
personnel
2) To achieve KPIs set by Plant Manager and the Company
3) Initiate cost reduction projects to maintain cost competitiveness. Cost saving
projects to include Asian Blending & SIS indirect materials.
4) Review purchasing trends and incorporate into short and long-term strategies
5) Develop and maintain a systematic approach in selection of suppliers based
on safety, quality, price and service
6) To manage supply risk by engaging more suppliers especially for key packing
materials.
7) Establish long term partnership with key suppliers and subcontractors
8) Involve in supplier quality audit and conduct annual vendor assessment
9) Work with end users to ensure timely contract renewal. Invite RFQs from
existing and new suppliers/contractors/service providers to ensure cost
competitiveness
10) Review and improve purchasing processes (call-off, artwork etc), ISO
procedures and Material Store GMP
11) Issue material requirement spreadsheet and co-ordinate with suppliers on
material delivery schedules
12) Ensure no major stock discrepancy finding during finance stock take
13) Monitor slow moving, excessive and aging materials
14) To handle packing materials complaints with supplier and follow up with
document such as log sheet/CPF, credit note, replacement etc.
15) Verify invoices and co-ordinate inter-company billing on items selling to Asian
Blending Pte Ltd
16) NPI involvement - Artwork, sample, modification, change of management etc.
17) To conduct SOP and job training for department staff whenever needed
Other Functional Responsibilities
• Mangement suppliers, appraisal performnace and quality of supplier, audit suppier
• Ability to analyze and interpret operational data and prepare reports, and
recommendations.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills (process / system);
• Strong knowledge in PC systems and software application skills;
Roles and Responsibility related to purchasing, material and other as required
1) Report of purchasing situations, update immediately to the planning department in case issues of material shortage because of purchasing procedure is delayed.
