General Responsibilities
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of
Purchasing- Research purchasing needs and identify how our solutions address them
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting purchasing goals,
analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
- Generate leads, and establish and nurture purchasing relationships
Main Tasks
- Create and execute a strategic purchasing plan that expands the company
supplier database and extends the company's global supply chain

team members, and ensure that they're using effective purchasing tactics to

- Built up and develop relationships with potential suppliers
- Support the worldwide Ha Long EPC purchasing network in purchasing activities
in Vietnam and International and inform the network about potentials in the
market area
- Implement global PSM strategies and tools provided by HQ

Authorities:
- Refer to the Authority Matrix which is applicable (The Authority Matrix can be changed,
at the sole discretion of the Company, from time to time
- Bachelor/Master degree
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or
sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skill
- At least 10 years of working experience in both domestic and international purchasing positions; at least 5 years of working experience in a managerial position
Competencies:
- Ability to work well within a team and across international organizations
- Strong level of resilience, tenacity, flexibility and initiative
- Excellent knowledge about relevant domestic and international law for purchasing contracts
- Willingness to travel regularly; both domestically and internationally
- Experiences in customs clearance and other export related works
- Experiences in general logistics procedure (shipping arrangements domestic and international)
- Experiences in SAP/MM software
- Basic technical understanding of heavy machinery (energy plant equipment, mining equipment, others)
- Experiences in purchasing steel structure, other (welded) steel constructions
- Five or more years of experience in managing puchsing in a corporate setting
- Proven record of success with the entire purchasing process, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Superb leadership ability
- Ability to travel at least 80% of the time

- Proven success rate at high levels following purchasing budget
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Computer literacy (MS office: upper level)
