I. Position Objective
Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all
purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely supply of goods/services, and strong supplier relationships in alignment with company strategy.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Plan and manage annual purchasing budgets and forecasts.
2. Supplier Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, price, and delivery standards.
3. Negotiation and Contracting
Negotiate and finalize purchasing contracts ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
Review and manage supplier agreements in line with company policies.
4. Purchasing Operations
Oversee end-to-end purchasing process to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Coordinate with other departments to meet operational and project requirements.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and present periodic reports on purchasing performance and supplier management.
