🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned QA Lead to own end-to-end quality assurance across a complex, multi-team software build. You will establish rigorous testing standards, drive test coverage, and ensure our cloud-native, Linux-only financial data platform meets extreme reliability and performance requirements.
This platform processes real-time trading and market data at scale. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear, structured path to transition into an Operational/Support Leadership position once the platform goes live.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. QA Strategy & Governance
Define, implement, and own the overall QA strategy and master test plan across all platform microservices and components.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, coordinating testing efforts across multiple build cohorts and sprint release cycles.
Oversee rigorous functional, integration, and regression testing throughout the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) development cycle.
2. Defect Management & Delivery Confidence
Identify, document, and track high-priority bugs, performance bottlenecks, and regressions to resolution using Jira, Linear, or equivalent platforms.
Drive engineering process improvements to optimize build quality, test efficiency, and deployment release confidence.
3. Strategic Leadership Transition
Actively prepare to transition into a Support or Operations Lead role at go-live, managing the platform's steady-state lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1+ years of professional experience specifically in a QA Lead.
Proven track record of leading QA strategies for highly complex software builds, distributed systems, or backend-heavy architectures.
Exceptional hands-on experience authoring and executing comprehensive test plans, integration matrixes, and test cases.
Deep understanding of integration testing methodologies tailored for modern, API-driven architectures (REST, gRPC, WebSockets).
Demonstrated ability to align multiple engineering squads, dev teams, and product timelines seamlessly.
Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) for executive reporting and technical syncs.

Experience architecting or extending automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or backend automation tools).
Solid familiarity operating within Linux-based systems and cloud-native environments.
