1. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Quality Control (QC) Manager establishes and maintains all quality control processes and procedures to ensure that products meet the established the specifications and quality standards.
2. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and oversee quality control procedures and processes for raw materials, semi- finished, and finished products, ensuring their effective execution.
- Coordinate and manage inspection activities and quality assessments for materials, in- process products, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Supervise and guide technicians, inspectors, and subordinates to ensure adherence to established quality control procedures and the quality management system.
- Ensure that released products meet standard specifications and comply with customer requirements.
- Interpret and apply GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 15378, FSSC 22000, and customer-specific requirements to develop and enhance quality control processes.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department to enhance product quality.
- Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective and preventive actions. Establish improvement measures to prevent recurring quality issues and enhance product standards.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality tests, procedures, and standards.
