Job Summary
Gardenline has a successful 30 years operating history, commencing in 1992 as a modest
import and distribution operation to become one of the leading exporters of outdoor
furniture. We are looking for an experienced Quality Director to lead our quality assurance
efforts and ensure the highest standards for our outdoor furniture products. This role
involves developing and maintaining quality control programs, managing supplier quality,
and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong
leadership skills and extensive experience in furniture manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to improve product
durability and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, conducting audits and inspections to ensure
compliance with quality standards.
• Supervise product testing and inspection processes across different production phases.
• Collaborate with suppliers,
designers, and production teams to resolve quality issues and
optimize manufacturing processes.
• Lead root cause analysis for defective products and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with international safety and environmental regulations related to
outdoor furniture.
• Train and mentor QC teams to uphold consistent quality assurance practices.
• Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to track quality performance and recommend
improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance product standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Must have at least 10 years experience in Quality Control
• Fluency in both verbal and written English
• Good at Microsoft Office software
• Proven expertise in quality control methods, supplier evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using QA tools and statistical analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of materials and production processes used in outdoor furniture.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Managed 10-20 Quality Inspectors
• Can Manage other Quality Managers
• Must have worked with a Rep Office - Agent, Managing Quality control for different clientele.
• Must be able to train and guide Quality Inspectors & Quality Management
• Strong negotiation skills
• Must have Strong leadership skills
• Must Understand Furniture Manufacturing departmental processes and controls
