Quality Engineer

I. Key responsibilities
- Work with Technical engineers to create drawings of function gauges and drift gauges as per drawing requirements.
- Collaborate with the QC team to monitor measuring instruments for FA products, ensuring they are readily available during product inspections.
- Work with the QC team to ensure all products are inspected according to schedule, concluding performing incoming inspections of related assembled products, and ensuring product- related records are kept in a timely manner according to the shipping schedule.
- Check all relevant drawings, shot peen, roller burnish, weld coupon samples, etc., to ensure they meet the customer drawing requirements before providing the report to the customers.
- Make calibration plans of functional gauges and drift gauges to make sure they are reviewed and calibrated periodically.
- Can operate CMM machine to catch up calibration plan.
- Make the bubble drawing and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for each drawing.
- Update bubble drawing and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) once drawing changed.
- Control the quantity, measurement equipment and testing in company and make sure their calibration is carried out according to ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards or equivalent standards.
- Make the plan to buy the measurement equipment list for each quarter of the year or as new part number requirements.
- In charge of internal calibration for micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges, rings gages and length rods, drift gage, function gages etc.
- Maximize usage of calibration software to reduce double entry of data to excel file.
- Maintain special processes performance such as shot peening Almen strips documentation and laser cladding test coupon.
- In charge of lab room equipment and complete microstructure and hardness reports.
- Manage all measurement equipment and make sure all measurement equipment in order and easily to track.
- Participant in NCR meetings and follow corrective actions.
- Take part in internal audits for QMS and OHSE.
