Product Inspection and Testing:
1. Perform performance tests on products (Internal Test and FAT - Factory Acceptance Test)
2. Inspect product dimensions and specifications according to design standards.
3. Conduct both First Article Inspection and Outgoing Inspections for finished products.
4. Conduct the inspections and testing at Rubber lining such as: thickness, adhension, hardness, holiday, ...
5. Use various inspection tools and equipment, such as Coating Thickness Gauges, Hardness
Tester, Holiday Detector, Rubber Hammer, Flatness Checker, Caliper, ...
6. Highlight any quality or performance issues to relevant departments.
7. Has the authority to identify, control non-conforming products during inspection and performance testing for further action.
8. Carry out the witness inspection with the Clients or/and Third party.
9. Prepare necessary jigs, fixtures, and tools for performance testing.
Documentation and Reporting:
1. Maintain detailed records and summary of inspection results, including photographs, reports, and test data.
2. Prepare and submit inspection reports to the Quality Engineer / Manager.
3. Ensure all documentation complies with project requirements and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
1. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to address and resolve quality-related issues.
2. Coordinate inspection activities and resolve issues with the Quality Engineer and project team.
Compliance and General Duties:
1. Ensure strict adherence to EHS regulations.
2. Has the authority to report quality-related risks or recurring issues to the Quality Engineer/Manager for timely resolution.
3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Engineer / Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as quality inspector in Rubber manufacturing field or related fields.
• Quality-related or inspection certifications are a plus.
• Skilled in using measurement and testing equipments
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency is required.
