Mô tả công việc
Oversee day-to-day school operations and set learning goals for students and teachers based on national curricula.
Build close relationships between the school and the parents.
Manage, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate the task completion and payroll of teachers.
Interview and hire school personnel
Research new resources and techniques to improve teaching andensure a safe and clean environment for students
Attend conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trends
Conduct entrance tests for new and prospective students.
Plan, organize, arrange and welcome the members of the Department of Education (DOET) during the branch inspection.
Attend all meetings and training sessions organized by the DOET.
Ensure compliance with DOET guidelines, including any administrative paperwork.
Handle emergencies and school crises.
Actively participate in ILO Academy events both on and off-site, as required by the Head of ILO,including accompanying and supervising preschool students on Summer School excursions to avariety of locations.
Assist with pastoral duties as requested by the Head of ILO, and to consistently ensure thewelfare of our students remains paramount.
Carry out any duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Head of ILO.
Yêu cầu
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education in either Early Years or Primary Education.
Proficient written and spoken English communication skills
Experience
At least three years of experience in a preschool management role, preferably in a bilingual or international environment.
Experience working in a bilingual school environment.
Experience supervising expatriate teaching staff is desirable.
Knowledge of first and second language acquisition is a plus.
Technical Skills
Computer literate and experienced with using G-suite - google drive, google docs, google sheets, google forms, google apps etc.
Soft Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and interest in being part of Vietnamese and Expatriate working culture.
Able to work in dynamic environments and deal with all kinds of child behaviors in a patient and empathetic manner
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Able problem solve, be flexible, and learn on the job
Strong public speaking and public interaction skills, especially as applied to parent-facing events, from parent consultations, parent meetings, and parent seminars.
